About the Role

We are searching for a strategic and results-driven Business Manager to lead our growth efforts and strengthen the operational and financial foundation of our company. This position is an exciting opportunity for someone who is both analytical and creative, with a passion for sustainable food innovation.

As the Business Manager, you will oversee the financial health, strategic direction, and overall management of the brand. You’ll work closely with the leadership team to identify opportunities for growth, improve profitability, and optimize business operations. From spearheading marketing initiatives to managing budgets and fostering partnerships, you will play a critical role in ensuring Scoop n Dough’s success in local and international markets.

This role requires a combination of entrepreneurial spirit, strong organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-evolving business landscape. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of the brand while contributing to a movement that redefines plant-based desserts.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business or startup, preferably within the food and beverage, hospitality, or retail sectors.

  • Proven track record of driving business growth, managing budgets, and achieving financial targets.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, influence, and manage cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

  • Proficiency in financial management tools, CRM platforms, and marketing analytics software.

  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Portuguese is highly preferred to navigate local markets effectively.

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with experience managing external partnerships and stakeholder relationships.

  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify) and online marketing strategies.

  • A passion for sustainability and a strong alignment with the values of a plant-based, innovative brand.

  • Knowledge of market trends in vegan or plant-based industries is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business goals, including revenue growth, market expansion, and operational efficiency.

  • Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and profit-and-loss management to ensure financial stability and scalability.

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and market trends, to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

  • Lead marketing and branding initiatives, working with creative teams to enhance visibility, attract customers, and strengthen the brand identity.

  • Manage e-commerce platforms and online sales channels, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform decision-making and stay ahead of industry trends.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, suppliers, and external partners.

  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to align operational goals with business strategy and ensure smooth execution across all departments.

  • Create and analyze performance metrics, presenting insights and actionable recommendations to the leadership team.

  • Monitor compliance with local regulations, ensuring that the business adheres to legal, financial, and operational standards.
