We are searching for a strategic and results-driven Business Manager to lead our growth efforts and strengthen the operational and financial foundation of our company. This position is an exciting opportunity for someone who is both analytical and creative, with a passion for sustainable food innovation.

As the Business Manager in our group, you will oversee the financial health, and overall management of the brand. You’ll work closely with the founders to identify opportunities for growth, improve profitability, and optimize business operations to bring to life our strategic and expansive vision. From spearheading marketing initiatives to managing budgets and fostering partnerships, you will play a critical role in ensuring Scoop n Dough’s success in local and international markets.

This role requires a combination of entrepreneurial spirit, strong organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-evolving business landscape. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of the brand while contributing to a movement that redefines plant-based desserts.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business management, preferably within the food and beverage, hospitality, or retail sectors.

  • Proven track record of driving business growth, managing budgets, and achieving financial targets.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, influence, and manage cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

  • Proficiency in financial management tools, CRM platforms, and marketing analytics software.

  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Portuguese is highly preferred to navigate local markets effectively.

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with experience managing external partnerships and stakeholder relationships.

  • A passion for sustainability and a strong alignment with the values of a plant-based, innovative brand.

  • Knowledge of market trends in vegan or plant-based industries is a plus.


Familiarity with business solutions (e.g. Power BI), e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify), ERP solutions (e.g. Salesforce), online marketing strategies will be greatly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources, including POS systems, inventory platforms, and customer feedback channels, to generate comprehensive reports.

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, profitability, customer retention, and operational efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to provide real-time insights to the leadership team.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges in the vegan dessert industry.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to analyze campaign performance, customer demographics, and purchasing patterns.

  • Provide financial analysis and forecasting to support budgeting and strategic planning.

  • Work with the Operations Manager and the production team to Identify inefficiencies in production or operations by analyzing supply chain and inventory data, and recommend solutions to improve workflow and reduce costs.

  • Support the leadership team in setting data-driven goals and evaluating the impact of business initiatives.

  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
